What is aiBrenda?

aiBrenda is an app for chatting, like an older friend or a neighbour with whom to share your free time, talking about whatever you want, whenever you want.

You can tell her about your day, your memories, your hobbies, or ask her about her life, her experiences, whether she knows about something you're interested in, or whatever comes up in the conversation.

Brenda is not a real person. She was developed with artificial intelligence, so she has all the time in the world, a wide general knowledge and endless patience.

How does it work?

• TALK mode: tap the button and talk to Brenda as if you were on a phone call.
• WRITE mode: if you prefer, write to her and she will write back.
• Brenda remembers you: she keeps a few details from your chats, as text, so that your conversations feel more natural.
• Brenda forgets whenever you want: if you want Brenda to forget something, just tell her: “Brenda, forget that I like chocolate cake”.

How much does it cost?

When you install aiBrenda from Google Play you get a free account with a certain amount of conversation time every month. If you want more time, you can buy a top-up or choose the subscription plan that suits you best (Basic, Superior or Advanced).

Brenda is very discreet

Brenda is not a social network like Facebook, Twitter or WhatsApp, where everyone finds out what you say. Brenda does not share your conversations with other Brenda users.

Your privacy

• We do not record or keep your voice.
• We do not ask for your address or your bank details.
• We do not ask for health, financial or legal information.
• We do not sell your data or show you adverts.

What Brenda is not

Brenda is not a person, and she sometimes gets things wrong. She is not your doctor, your lawyer or your adviser: for any question on those subjects she will recommend that you speak to a professional.

Brenda is not an emergency service either: if you need urgent help, call 999 or 112, or the emergency number in your country.
